In 2011, we celebrated the birth of a brand new festival in Bilbao (Spain) with four legendary bands from across the oceans. Southern sludgers Down, followed by their brothers of Eyehategod, Corrosion Of Conformity and japanese psych(o) band Church Of Misery, headlined this festival dedicated to heavy music. With more than a thousand people attending the Santana27 venue and the four headliners having fun like never before, it was pretty obvious this story wouldn’t end after such a crazy start. Almost two years have passed, but Noise On Tour Promotions were preparing something behind the scenes. The KRISTONFEST is back in 2013, same place, same schedule, with again, one of the most attractive lineups ever : CLUTCH, ORANGE GOBLIN, TRUCKFIGHTERS, KARMA TO BURN. Far from huge outdoor festivals, this is your chance to enjoy four legends in a very intimate setting. Be there or be square !
Indoor festival KRISTONFEST will take place on June 15th, 2013 at Santana27 in Bilbao (Spain, Basque country). Tickets are 30€ only, you can buy them here.
CLUTCH will soon release their long-awaited tenth album “Earth Rocker”, and started a massive world tour earlier this year. Most of the shows are sold-out, which announces a great return for the American heavy blues legends. If you missed them, this is your chance to catch it up and have the time of your life with Neil Fallon, Jean-Paul Gaster, Dan Maines and Tim Sult.
ORANGE GOBLIN released their latest record “A Eulogy for The Damned” one year ago, which is considered as one of their best albums ever, and the London-based quartet hasn’t stopped touring the world since then. Their relentless 20 years career has led them to be part of the leaders in the stoner/heavy rock field, being much respected by both the critics and the artists.
The energy of swedish fuzzrockers TRUCKFIGHTERS on stage has been proven every time they touched the venues’ floors and turned their amps. It’s been four years since the band hasn’t released an album, but they were featured in famous documentary “Fuzzomentary”, which established them even more among the stoner scene. With a brand new drummer behind the kit, and a refilled energy, Ozo, Dango and McKenzo will surely mark 2013 with their very own fuzzy imprint.
KARMA TO BURN are legends. If you have to name one band when it comes to instrumental heavy music, just think of them. West Virginia’s fellas released their last record “V” in 2011 and since then, haven’t stopped touring Europe and so. Any person who saw them performing will tell you that there’s no such rhythm’n’riffs bulldozer like KTB. Openers or headliners, the only thing that matters is that your ears will be blown (probably literally) for ever.
Noise On Tour is the spanish tour promoter for Witchcraft, Graveyard, Sungrazer, Kadavar, Mustasch, Torche…
