The fall season is synonymous of aplenty of announcements from our favorite festivals. Europe’s (still) groundbreaking ROADBURN FESTIVAL is no exception, offering a hot batch of heavyweights for its 2017 edition, among which very special guests in the persons of John Baizley of Baroness and Dylan Carson of Earth. Tickets go on sale this October 20th, so you know what to do.
Talented songwriter and designer John Dyer Baizley will be this edition’s curator, as well as performing with his Savannah gang Baroness (whom we’ve been missing a lot, to be honest). Dylan Carson of mighty progressive doom outfit Earth will get into a fierce battle against electronic soundscape-maker The Bug for yet another unprecedented performance at the festival. But the icing on the cake is well and truly the exclusive reunion of US most historical psych/hard rockers Coven.
Among the few other bands who got us all excited, we’ll quote Deafheaven, SubRosa, Chelsea Wolfe, MAGMA, Aluk Todolo, Slomatics and AHAB. Check out full announcement is available below.
