Epic heavy metal band THE SWORD is about to make a stunning return with the release of their fourth record “Apocryphon” on Razor & Tie Records, produced by J.Robbins (known for his work with Clutch). Get also set for a tremendous electric storm, because the band will be massively touring across their homeland America… then Europe.
After a short hiatus due to the departure of drummer Trivett Wingo, THE SWORD got back on their feet by signing a record deal with New-York based label Razor & Tie. Their fourth record “APOCRYPHON” will be released on October 22 in the United States (and a bit later everywhere else).
Lead guitarist Kyle Shutt defined this record as a fresh start : “It is a reflection of everything that we [have gone] through and the lessons we learned. […] This record is just 10 banging hard rockers. There’s no real ‘stick-out’ thrash song, or, like, this one is the ballad. I don’t think there’s going to be any instrumental songs on this record, either, so that’ll be a first for us. It’s just 10 kick-ass rock songs.”. (Source : Blabbermouth)
